Digital growth questions

Maturity across the areas that compound together — your website, search visibility, conversion path, use of AI, and the trust signals a buyer looks for before enquiring. It is a breadth check rather than a depth audit: it shows which area is furthest behind, which is usually where the next dollar works hardest.

Whichever scores lowest, in most cases, because these areas multiply rather than add. Driving more traffic to a site that does not convert wastes the traffic; optimising conversion on a site nobody reaches wastes the optimisation. The weakest link caps the value of everything upstream of it.

After any significant change — a redesign, a migration, a new service line — and otherwise every six to twelve months. Scoring more often than that tends to measure noise rather than progress, because the underlying work moves slowly.

It usually means cheap wins are available. Mature sites have already taken the easy gains, so their remaining improvements are incremental and expensive. A low score often indicates that basic, well-understood fixes have not been applied yet — which is a better position to be in than it feels.
